Today, Bob spoke with Pastor Tom Davis. He is the president of “Children’s Hopechest.” It is a Christian organization which provides humanitarian aid to orphans around the world.
His book: Red Letters: living a faith that bleeds, challenges us Christians to be more giving and help those less fortunate.

Open line topic: The U.S. Navy has decided to spend as much as 600,000 for landscaping and architectural modifications to obscure the fact that one of it’s building complexes looks like a swastika from the air. Bob took listener calls asking if this is a waste of money.

Then, Bob spoke with Jeana Floyd. She is a pastor’s wife and breast cancer survivor. Her book: An Uninvited Guest, shares her journey with breast cancer and her healing.
October is “breast cancer awareness” month.
