The Bob Dutko Show
Today, Bob spoke with Dr. Amy Black. She is Associate Professor of Political Science and Chair of the dept of politics and international relations at Wheaton College, (IL)
Her book: Honoring God in Red or Blue, examines how we can honor God no matter what side of political fence we are on.

Open line topic: Bob shared the pagan origins of Christmas. Then, he only took calls from those that do not celebrate Christmas.

Then, Bob spoke Dr. Dwight Webb. He is Professor Emeritus at the University of New Hamshire. His book: Building Heaven on Earth confused me because this author is lost. He doesn’t consider himself an Atheist, but he challenges the rigidities of major religions. He believes we need to be the one to control our own spiritual development. That a so called God, has nothing to do with it.

Then, Bob read Bryan Kemper’s article that challenged us to look at abortion the way we look at other tragedies. The Newtown shooting that killed over 20 kids was shocking. But, there is no outcry from people about all the babies in the womb that are murdered each day.

Open line topic:Bob took listener calls and asked how they felt about Bryan’s comparison.
