Today, Bob spoke with Steve Corbett. He is Community Development Specialist for the “Chalmers Center for Economic Development”. He is also Assistant Professor in the department of economics and community development at Covenant College. His latest book: When Helping Hurts: how to alleviate poverty without hurting the poor and yourself, shows how the government is hurting the poor with their programs. He shows what the churches responsibility is in helping the poor.

Then, Bob spoke with Richard Botkin. He served from 1980-1995 on active and reserve duty as a Marine Corps infantry officer. He helped organize medical/dental mission trips to Cambodia. His book: Ride The Thunder: a Vietnam War story of honor and triumph, shows us the behind scenes of the Vietnam War, and he also parallels it with the Iraq war.
