Today, Bob spoke with Dale Buss. He is a local Journalist who writes regularly about matters of faith, culture, politics and business, for national publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal and USA Today to Citizen Magazine, Business Week and Chief Executive. They discussed President Obama’s Address from the Oval Office on the oil spill.

Today, Bob spoke with Dr. Lisa Dunne. She teaches developmental Psychology at William Jessup University in Rocklin, California. She is also a Pastor’s wife. Her book: Emerge: cracking the cocoon of media socialization, examines how the media manipulates us emotionally. www.lisakdunne.com

Topic: Bob discussed a study out of USA Today about the percent of people that would help other people by using CPR on them. Bob asked listeners why the number s were lower than he thought they would be.

Then, Bob spoke with Barb Blasco. Along with her husband Richard, they started a ministry in their community called “HIM” (Hearts in Motion) this is a ministry to help those that are disabled. Her book: It’s a Girl, Will She Live? Is the journey Barb and her husband have been on since April 1979. Barb gave birth to Kathryn that was born with a cyst on her head. She was not suppose to live more than a week or so. She today is still alive. Barb shares the struggles parents with special needs children face, and offers hope and help for them.

Topic: Bob took calls asking why is it that most places of business with tv’s play the liberal news channels? They play CNN, MSNBC instead of Fox News the more conservative of the three.
