Today, Bob spoke with Dr. Parnell Donahue. He was a General Medical Officer if the US Air Force. He now practices at the Nashville Military Entrance Processing Station. With this being Bullying Awareness week, they discussed tactics parents, and teachers and Administrators can take to stop bullying.

Then, Bob spoke with Eric Kniffen. He is Legal Counsel for The Becket Fund for Religious Freedom. www.becketfund.org
They discussed the great news about “under God” in the pledge being safe once again. The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Hampshire ruled to leave it in within their schools.

Michigan teacher , Jay McDowell in Howell, Mi. Was kicked out of school with no pay for a day. For violating a students free speech rights. Mr. McDowell told a student to remove his belt buckle with the Confederate Flag. The student complied, then a student asked how different is the Confederate Flag to the Rainbow Flag? The boy said he didn’t agree with being gay and it was against his religion. He was then sent out of the room for asking that question. Bob took listener calls asking their take on this case.
