They discussed First Lady Michelle Obama inviting rapper “Common” to the Night of Poetry event at White House. This rapper has been known to make threats against former Pres Bush and supports convicted cop killer and former Black Panther Assata Shakur.

Today, Bob spoke with Dr. David Anderson. He is Pastor of Bridgeway Community Church in Maryland. His book: I Forgrace You, explains how hanging on to past hurts can actually damage us and our relationships with others. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has come out and said he will run for president in 2012. He will be one of the Republican candidates. With his past of affairs and many marriages, Bob took calls asking it that would keep listeners from voting for him. Listeners said it would not keep them from voting for him cause he has repented and knows his past sins are forgiven.

Then, Bob spoke with R.R. Reno. He is Professor of Theology at Creighton University.
His book: Fighting the Noonday Devil, is a collection of essays that explain how to evangelize a society that doesn’t really care. That has become stagnant.

The Presbyterian Church USA has cleared the way for gay clergy. Bob took calls asking listeners if they think Christians should leave the denomination.
