They discussed the latest Pew Research Poll, showing more “religious” voters say they are Democrats, has declined. More religious people are going towards GOP.

Today, Bob spoke with Bob Buford. He is Founder of Halftime. An organization designed to help business and professional leaders to embrace what God has for them. His latest book: Finishing Well: the adventure of life beyond halftime, shows how those in their 40’s and 50’s make their second half of life more significant.

a child in North Carolina had her lunch inspected. He mom made her a turkey, cheese sandwhich, banana, and chips and Apple Juice. The Gov inspector deemed the lunch not healthy enough and forced the child to eat chicken nuggets. Bob asked if it is ok for schools to inspect a child’s lunch box.

Then, Bob spoke with Steven James. He is an author of over 30 books. His latest: Flirting With the Forbidden: finding grace in a world of temptation, examines how we can have a closer walk with Christ through our struggles.

A Cincinnati High School is paying their students to come to school.
I guess this school is in an urban area, and the kids just won’t come to school. Bob took listener calls, asking if it’s a good idea to get kids to come to school.
