In light of Donald Trump calling the Republican Party and Delegate election process “rigged” and “corrupt”, I explained in detail and gave a simplified explanation of the Delegate process, the national Electoral College process, why our Founding Fathers put this system in the Constitution, and why this system (albeit confusing and complicated) really is a smarter system than just a popular vote system.
I also explained the Democratic Party’s “Superdelegates” and how that system actually disenfranchises Democrat voters and “rigs” the system way more than the GOP delegate system.
