Then, Bob spoke with former Speaker of The House, Newt Gingrich. They discussed what his plans would be for the U.S. if he became President in 2012. His latest book: A Nation Like No Other: why American exceptionalism matters, examines the struggles this country is facing under Obama.

Then, Bob spoke with Nita Belles. She is Central Oregon Regional Coordinator for Oregonians Against Trafficking Humans. She is a former pastor. Her book: In our Backyard: a Christian perspective on human trafficking in the United States, examines how we can stop this in our country.

Alabama’s new immigration law cracking down on illegal immigrants will likely survive legal challenges. It will take affect Sept. 1st. It empowers police to arrest people suspected of being illegal. Bob took calls asking if this was too strict.
